Only thing I'd add is a highlight on his eyes. Exactly the same principle as the gems.

My first ever green stuff conversion (ok the greenstuff sculpting isn't great but never-the-less I'm overall very happy with his). Presenting Cattleclysm.

The wing colours are quite bright but I had visions of him ripping them from a wood elf eagle (the colour matches my eagles from that army) and then Khazbar fusing them to his back.

I also completed a Waystalker. I kept the colour scheme reasonable simple but pushed out the boat (for me) and even added some highlighting. Practically a Rembrandt!!
