Dear all, Here are the groups for the early period art de la guerre competition.
In the 15mm contest, Chris M, Max, Denis and Chris R are in one group. Richard,Neil, Ken and me are in the other.
In the 25mm contest Bryan, Steve L,Paul G Gavin and me and the other group Ken, Steve T, Paul K, Graham and Dean.
Its only 3 or four games each (except for me and Ken, but then Im a glutton for punishment!) so I would appreciate it if we can get the games done by the end of March. Thank you

Dear all, After a lengthy period of consideration, I have decided that the scoring for the Art de la geurre Early period will be as follows
For playing a game 1 point For using chariots ( this means you must include at least two chariots that are not generals) 1 point Points scored for damaging the enemy, each routed unit counts as 2, each disrupted unit counts as 1
For gaining 6-11 points 1 point For gaining 12-17 points 3 points For gaining 17+ points 5 points Bonus for breaking the enemies army 3 points If both armies break at the end of the same combat phase, ie "simultaneous" break, each player minus 1 point.
This should reward hard fighting, and not conceding early or just skirmishing. Similarly, it should not reward taking a huge "cockroach" army. Normally, for a win it will be 10 points and between 1 and 7 for the loser. I think this is straightforward, but then again, I know what I intended. If anyone thinks it needs more explanation, please let me know and Ill tray and do better Tony
