Hi all,
We're looking for people who want to try Flames of War. So we are going to have a early war game where the Germans invade Kent in 1940. We will be playing German paratroopers against British Defenders.
Player will need 15 mm figures, it just for fun so it doesn't matter if the bases aren't Flames of War. It does matter if the figures are later war, they just can't use their late war weapons. And the are few if any tanks to worry about. They can pick up the rules by watching the tutorials in U-tube and we have a few rule books that people can look at. The game will be over one may two weeks, not a massive commitment.
So if people are interested please get in touch by posting in this thread or contacting me at the club.

If this is still a possibility I'd like to give it a go.

I've got Germans and Russians in 15 mm.
I also have 6mm US and Germans for 43/44.
They have published 4 edition rules which are very clearly written and presented and seem to have toned down the WW2 60s kids' comic presentation.
They still want you to 'buy their stuff' though hence my subversive suggestion of 6 mm which the Team Yankee players have shown looks really good.
