We had two results on Friday. Ken and Steve L were replaying their drawn semi final. I saw some parts of the battle, and it looked close and hard fought. When Steve actually committed the chariots, Kens army was under too much pressure in too many directions, and so Steve L took the first place in the final.
The other semi final was between Paul G and Steve T. I would like to give a detailed battle report, following the tactics and slices of luck that the generals had, leading to the triumphant winner. However, Paul G forgot which competition he was fighting, brought the wrong army to the club night, and owing to fixture congestion, the battle was to be decided on the roll of a dice. Paul came out on top, and so goes through to the final.
As an aside, they then had a game with the armies they had brought, and Steve T wiped Paul out in very short order....
