Here are some questions on which I'm not 100% sure about the answers. So I thought I'd put them up here so the Commissioners can give their interpretation for use in the league. I've put what I think the answer is in brackets after the question.
1. A player earns a Star Player point for each Completion he makes. A completion = an accurate Pass that is caught. So is a successful Pass made using the Dump Off skill treated as a Completion? (I think Yes because although it is done in the opponent's turn it involves all the usual rolls for accurate pass and catch). Is a Hand Off treated as a Pass for these purposes (I think No because it says Handing Off is a separate type of Action like Block, Blitz, Pass and Move).
2. Two Star Player points are awarded whenever a player causes a Casualty. But how does this interact with a Skill like Regeneration? Do you only get the points if your opponent fails the Regeneration roll? (I guess so- the blighter just dodged the bullet).
3. Also an Apothecary can put a Badly Hurt player (ie one that is normally counted as a Casualty) into the Reserves box. Does this player count as a Casualty for the purposes of claiming the 2 Star Player points? (I think Yes).
4. If a player carrying the ball Goes For It, crosses into the opponent's End Zone and then rolls a 1 to fall over, is it a TD? The reason I ask is because you move the player into the square BEFORE you roll to see if he falls over. So the player enters the end zone then falls over. That'd be a TD in the NFL, but what about Blood Bowl? (No idea)
5. Am I correct in thinking that once the season has started you can only buy Team Re-Rolls at double the usual price, and that you can't buy Fan Factors?
Regards C

Regards C Hi Chris, I can answer some of these based on current rules and some based on previous rules versions which we can then wait for the commissioners to rule on/over ride if they want 1) Dump off - in the previous version, if successful, it counted as a pass (gaining the player 1 SPP). This is because it followed the normal pass procedure - pass roll and catch roll. It is just out of the normal sequence. Hand off - this didn’t count as a pass as you never rolled to pass, just to catch. 2 & 3).Both of these will give you 2 SPPs as you caused a casualty. The ‘healing’ occurs afterwards. Your query on the apothecary is specifically answered in the current FAQ and states you do get 2 SPP. 4) I honestly can’t remember on this one but will find out. 5) Correct on both. Team rerolls cost double the amount to buy after the initial team is created (so a dwarf reroll is 50k at creation but costs 100k to buy once the league has started). It is worth noting that although the cost to buy doubles, when working out the team value, you only count rerolls at the basic value (e.g. 50k for each reroll in my example, not 100k). This is covered in one of the Deathzone books. Fan factor cannot be purchased after the league has started only gained/lost.

Regards C Hi guys, Just to add the official spin to the answers... 1 - A player will gain the SPP for completing an accurate dump-off pass, as the dump-off rules state it follows the rules for normal passes. Similarly you don't get SPP for a hand off because its not officially a pass action. 2 - You will get SPP for causing a casualty even if a player regenerates the damage you caused and changes the result (as clarified in the Almanac, p110) 3 - You would still get the SPP for the casualty even if an Apothecary changes the result (as per the FAQ). 4 - 0f you Go For It into the end zone and fall over with the ball you will NOT score the touchdown. P21 of the rule book states "A team scores a touchdown during their turn when one of their players is standing in the opposing teams End Zone while holding the ball at the end of any players' Actions." If you fall over you drop the ball and at that point it is the end of your actions, so better keep a re-roll handy 5 - Once the league has started you are able to buy re-rolls, but they will cost you double the amount they would have cost you before the league started. This is cvered in the Post Match Sequence, bear in mind that they only ad the original value to your team's value. No buying fan factor once the league has started, you're just going to have to win games / kill opponents Mark's already answered these but I thought that your commissioners should weigh in so everyone is clear. Keep the questions coming! The more we can clarify now the better... Cheers guys.
