Our AGM is usually held on the last Friday in January. This generally clashes with the DBA Welsh Open at the Penarth Wargames show the following day, which is why I seldom manage to attend our AGM.
I have just noticed that next year there will be a further clash, with Godendag, which is usually held at Usk in mid-January, moving to the last weekend of January (28th-29th). There is also a change of venue (to Firestorm Games in Cardiff).
Do we want to think about changing the date of the AGM (assuming we have the flexibility to do this)? |

I don't see why not, move it to the first Friday in February as we'd like some people to be there otherwise its just another committe meeting.  |

I suppose the question is with a new venue, & format will SELWG members still be attending in 2017?

Concerning the Usk doubles I am keen on going and I know a few other people are doubles is always fun and this could be a good chance to get more people to go as its a new venue and should be cheaper as the Usk hotel was quite expensive. Details of the weekend can be found at the location below
