I'm taking up the reins of organising this year's SELWG LAdlaG competition, the ancient and medieval rule set that almost everyone is prepared to play. Experienced and beginners all welcome; this is an ideal opportunity to get into wargaming in this period, and/or play against club members outside of your regular group. Minimum commitment is to play 3 games in your starting group, but the ultimate prize is there - Club Champion!
We'll aim to get things started after Easter and I aim to have the group games completed by mid-July.
I'll be running competitions in both 15 mm and 20/28 mm.
In 15 mm you can draw armies from the whole Dark Ages chapter, army lists 124-178 inclusive.
In 20/28 mm you can draw armies from the Roman Period (not Asia), army lists 83-114 inclusive or the Dark Ages chapter (not Sudan or Far East), army lists 124-165 inclusive.
If you haven't received an email from me by next weekend (20 March), contact me on Messenger to express interest.
Several grognards have said they are prepared to loan armies to new players, so don't be shy.
