So last Friday i was playing Germans v Martin's British. For those that don't know PBI is a WWII 15mm game played on a 4x4 board marked into 6" squares. Once you get over the chess board logic it is a fun game with relatively simple rules with lots of dice rolling. This game was fairly unique in that only lasted for 4 turns (normally each battle is more like 6-9 turns). Being the attacker i should have lost (not enough time). Fortunately for me Martin deployed his British 6pdr guns rather than another infantry platoon. Therefore the battle was more or less between my two platoons v his one. Martin was very unlucky when my off board artillery barrage killed his companion commander on T1. By overloading the left flank i was easily able to capture 2 out of the 3 objectives, in readiness for his counter attack which never came. This picture shows the British 6pr's isolated on the left with me holding the central objective.

Hardly a battle report, more of an overview. Just thought worth posting to show people what is played at the club. Probably take some pics of tonight's game. You of course could post a splendid report on your 40K quarter final victory encounter with Ben!!
